New Nonprofit Literary Organization
The Literary Source
Atlanta, GA-January 19, 2005-The Literary Source Inc. is the
writer’s self support system. A one stop promotional spot for all
authors of the written and spoken word. Freelance writers and book
authors can receive great exposure for much less than it would cost
to advertise in magazines and online literary sites. The
organization was established in December 2004 by founder and
director Stormy Steele, author of the novel Behind The Screen. The
Literary Source is dedicated to providing knowledge to new and
aspiring authors about the literary industry, and assisting authors
with their book promoting.
“Once your book is published, that’s when the real work begins. If
you want to capture the attention of booksellers, large publishing
houses, and lots of readers you must promote extensively which can
be very expensive!” says Stormy, whose self-published novel reached
a bestseller’s list one month after its release.
The Literary Source Inc. helps to ease the burden of promoting by
providing an additional vehicle for authors to showcase their books.
One way is by providing features and free ads in The Literary Source
magazine, which is distributed nationwide to subscribers, select
bookstores and libraries. You can also find members' books on The
Book Corner page of the Literary Source website.
More benefits include: Up to 50% discounts on attendance to major
book events such as Book Expo America (BEA), and huge discounts on
printing services for promotional items.
The Literary Source team includes:
President-Robin Pendleton, author of “More Than You’ll Ever Know.”
Vice-President-Tiffany Daniels, chosen for her expertise in
marketing
Secretary-Tamika Robinson, PTA president, entrepreneur and active
community member
Still a novice? Literary Source members can attend free workshops
